One day while he was out foraging a piece of paper blew past him and caught against his basket. Reaching down to free it he saw that it was a flyer. He picked it up to read it and his eyes widened in excitement.
The Ultimate Preserving Station

It had to be a sign. He knew he had to own this amazing piece of preserving history. But, it was $2000. Benjamin took a deep breath, this was going to take some serious canning.
Benjamin spent the next week eat, sleep, living preserved fruit. He only stopped to sleep and pee. (Not at the same time.)
But after a week of slaving over a hot stove and his voice hoarse from shouting, he managed to raise the all important $2000. He phoned up the number on the flyer and ordered his Preservation Station.
He waited by the door of his little shack, like a kid waiting for Santa. Soon the day arrived and a huge box was delivered. Benjamin and the delivery guy hauled, pushed and squeezed the massive contraption into the tiny house.
After the delivery guy had gone, Benjamin looked at the stove sitting in his hallway. He couldn't get to his bathroom. It was huge. It was shiny. It was glorious.
But it needed to move.
Benjamin pulled, shifted and shimmied the furniture in his kitchen. He had to move the fridge and get rid of his oven completely but he got it in and, oh boy!! He loved it. So glamourous. So professional. So his! With this new machine he would be able to make all the jams, spreads and pickles needed to make a great home for Kim and the baby.
